SUTURE AMERICA TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Suture America (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing the disconnect between health and public awareness. Through our educational seminars, volunteer and internship opportunities, health articles, newsletters, and community engagement efforts, we aim to foster widespread knowledge about healthcare and inspire future leaders in medicine.
By accessing, using, or engaging with any of Suture America’s services, including but not limited to attending seminars, participating in volunteer or internship programs, reading articles, subscribing to newsletters, or collaborating with us through partner initiatives, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please do not access or use our services.
1. Services Provided
Suture America offers various programs, services, and opportunities designed to educate and inspire individuals about healthcare and medical practices. These include, but are not limited to:
- Interactive educational seminars, workshops, and events.
- Volunteer and internship programs related to healthcare and community outreach.
- Health articles, newsletters, and other educational resources.
- Collaborative projects with partners to raise awareness and create engagement in healthcare.
Our offerings are designed to foster a community environment that encourages the sharing of knowledge, skills, and experiences in the healthcare field.
2. Eligibility
Participation in Suture America’s services may require certain eligibility criteria, such as age restrictions, academic standing, or prior experience. These criteria will be outlined for specific programs, such as internships or volunteering opportunities, and it is your responsibility to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements before applying.
3. User Responsibilities
By participating in Suture America’s programs or utilizing our services, you agree to:
- Act in a professional, respectful, and ethical manner at all times.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines in connection with your participation.
- Not engage in any behavior that could damage the reputation of Suture America, its partners, or its community.
- Ensure that any information you provide to Suture America is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- Notify us immediately of any changes to your personal or contact information.
- Assume full responsibility for any damages incurred to Suture America including but not limited to services, educational resources, persons, and equipment that may incur legal and financial consequences.
You acknowledge and agree that Suture America reserves the right to refuse participation or access to any program or service at its sole discretion, particularly if it is found that the user is not adhering to these responsibilities.
4. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Suture America, including but not limited to articles, videos, images, logos, educational materials, and other intellectual property, is owned by Suture America or its partners and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You agree not to copy, distribute, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works based on any content provided by Suture America without prior written consent. You may use the content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes unless explicitly authorized otherwise.
5. Privacy and Data Collection
By engaging with Suture America, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes information provided during registration for events, seminars, or newsletters, as well as any data collected through our website or digital platforms.
We respect your privacy and will only use your data to communicate relevant information regarding our services, events, and opportunities. You have the right to unsubscribe from our newsletters and communications at any time.
6. Release of Liability
By participating in Suture America’s programs and services, you agree to the following:
- Assumption of Risk: You understand and acknowledge that any involvement in healthcare-related activities, including educational seminars, volunteering, internships, and other related experiences, carries inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to medical situations, potential injuries, or psychological stress. You voluntarily assume all such risks associated with your participation.
- Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Suture America, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to your participation in any of our activities or services. This includes any personal injury, illness, or loss of property incurred as a result of attending, volunteering, interning, or engaging in any Suture America events or programs.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suture America, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from your actions or negligence during your participation in our services.
- Medical Care: You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and medical care and agree to seek any medical attention that may be necessary during your involvement with Suture America programs. You understand that Suture America is not responsible for any medical treatments, advice, or services provided to you during or after your participation.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Suture America or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, participation in programs, or reliance on the information provided by Suture America, regardless of whether such damages are foreseeable or whether Suture America has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to your participation in Suture America’s programs or services shall be limited to the amount paid by you, if any, for participation in the specific program or event in question.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Suture America reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review the updated Terms and Conditions periodically. By continuing to use our services after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms and Conditions.
9. Termination
Suture America reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to any of its programs or services if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any conduct that we deem inappropriate or harmful to the organization, its partners, or other participants.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Arizona, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
11. Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Suture America regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
